As a teacher at the Education Unit at the Military Academy in Halmstad, you will play an important role in a successful team. About the Unit

The Education Unit trains future specialist and reserve officers as well as experienced specialist officers for higher positions. The unit consists of three different departments with a total of 45 employees.

You will belong to the Tactics Department within the Education Unit, a team of 15 people. The department educates and teaches in the areas of military science (tactics & military theory), international law, security policy, and total defense.

Main Responsibilities

• As a teacher and sometimes in the role of course leader, you will plan and conduct training in tactics/military science.
• Participate in teaching within the department's other subject areas.
• Participate in various exercises, both domestically and abroad, such as field training, field exercises, and winter training.
• Participate in development activities for the department's or unit's areas of work.

Meritorious

• Experience in teaching in the field of tactics/military science.
• Experience in staff service or equivalent leadership function.
